The game’s set to release on August 20th, with the major addition being Ryogi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai! The Limited Edition comes with a 2 disc soundtrack.
- 2 new characters
Michael Roa Valdamjong and Riesbyfe Stridberg were added. Roa is the infinite incarnating vampire who is the original boss of the Tsukihime novel while Ries is Sion’s friend and knight from the church who supposedly died protecting her. They return to in this storyline thanks to Tatari’s (Dust of Osiris Sion) power.
Riesbyfe is an easy character to use, while some styles of Roa like Crescent Moon requires some skills to master.
- 3 new styles
Each character in the game has 3 new styles which plays differently.
Crescent Moon is the closest one to the previous series. It’s combo based and probably the most aggressive and damaging style.
Half Moon style is the “beginner’s style” where you get auto break and auto heal whenever you gain full guage at 200%. Most characters have decent combos similar to the Crescent Moon ones.
Full Moon style plays most differently and it’s like learning a new character for each characters. Your guage fills up very slowly but you can hold down ABC to charge up your meter. This style is counter based more so than combos.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s see what’s new in the PS2 version
- Ryogi Shiki
Shiki from the Kara no Kyoukai novels make an appearance! She’s like the prototype character of Tohno Shiki, and setting wise possesses a much stronger Eyes of Death Perception. She will have her own story in the game as well.
